Power cables can have a big impact in a high end audio system and in some
designs their effects can even be negative.
Most power cables with filter networks, which reject frequencies over 60Hz,
work well for low current devices such as CD players, DACs, preamplifiers, etc.
However, they can have negative effects on high current power amplifiers.
The least offensive networks are comprised of parallel capacitance filters. While the
worst offenders and highest current limiters are the series inductance filters.
This includes the RC Zobel conjugates and LCR type of networks.
Power amps can draw huge amounts of current momentarily and these filters
act as current limiters. The dynamic range and transient response becomes
congested. This slows the amp's slew rate, which ruins the correct phase and
time response of the amplified signal. The music no longer sounds lifelike.
The NAGYS AUDIO Power Cable will not limit current, but due to special construction,
it will reject RFI (radio frequency interference) pollution. This power cable can be
used for low current components as well as high power amplifiers. It will not limit
your system's dynamic range nor transient response.
With less pollution coming into the power supply, background noise will decrease
drastically yielding an extremely transparent presentation. This new transparency will
provide ultra resolution, revealing micro details in the recordings.
